Looking forward to your next income report! … even getting a little antsy! 😉 These posts are so inspirational!
I love the transparency of your income reports! I’m a numbers guy and these help to establish a realistic approach to making a living doing something I love.
Another Burgh blogger,
Declan
your site is such a breathe of fresh air and an inspiration! So many fun reads and THIS area is a great insight to the blogging possibilities of staying home raising little ones, while having the opportunity to keep an income going and creativity alive!
I LOVE your income reports. As an accountant I totally nerd out to your posts and love learning about how you manage your business! Such a great idea, plus so helpful for blogging babies such as myself! =) Thank you for all the inspiring you do for newbie bloggers.
Hello Abby!
I really like your income reports, they are inspiring to me. That is why I included you in the list of my Favourite Monthly Income Bloggers. The link is here https://passiveincomewise.com/favourite-bloggers/
I will update it with the new incomes of the upcoming months. Thank you for sharing.
Best,
Francisco
Your income reports are so fascinating! I’ve never seen a blogger be so open and honest about their earnings 🙂 It’s very refreshing!
This is the first time I read the honest and so detail report on the blogging income. Love it since its so inspirational. Thank you for being so transparent with what you are doing. Just started my blog for my new year goal. You are one of my mentor in blogging business. Thank you again
Aw, thank you so much for your sweet words! You made my day! Congrats to you for starting a blog… Enjoy the journey! ~Abby =)
Just a quick question: Is it a mandatory thing to publish your income reports? I think I would find that a bit too transparent. Do you do it to teach others, or is there another reason? Thanks in advance for your reply!
Definitely not mandatory! The majority of bloggers don’t share income reports. We had just learned so much from other bloggers who had, so before we started making much at all, we started sharing our income in hopes that following our journey would help others be able to figure out this whole money and blogging thing too! Best of luck with your blog!
~Abby =)
Thank you so much for sharing these with your community. It’s awesome to see realistic numbers and it’s so inspiring. I just read Building a Framework and started my first blog. It’s so fun to imagine where my blog might go and get inspired by you two! Thanks 🙂
Thank you so much, Ashton! I’m so glad the reports are helpful! Congrats on starting your blog– I’m excited to see what you do with it!
~Abby =)
Hi Abby
Your income reports are encouraging. I have just started my income reports on my site
My first being here https://juliescafebakery.com/my-income-reports-julies-cafe-bakery/
Your income reports are inspirational! I have been blogging off and on for 2 years, and my income is sporadic. I love what you are doing, and am so happy that you are making a success out of blogging!
I started publishing my reports here – just recapped 2015 and plan to make monthly reports going forward. https://www.earnmoneyblogging.net/affiliate-marketing-income-reports-amazon-affiliate-earnings-for-2015-graphic/
Hi Abby,
I am not even sure if you ever read this comment of mine and I cant blame you either . You guys have been up to your new blog and I do understand there is soo much to do coupled with the responsibility of being a mother and a wife.
I am consistently working over my own blog and I seeing quiet a positive response gradually. But I always get to have this question in my mind when i am reading your posts. How many blog posts did you wrote that made your blog started having organic traffic. I mean there could be a rough answer to that like 200-300 or more than that. This at least give you an idea to make up your mind for targeting a particular amount of posts monthly. Your first income reports says you wrote a guest post in some other website which boosted yr traffic rapidly. But I never came across any such phrase like ” After this amount of blog posts your blog is capable of earning a little amount ….
Also i would like to suggest to add up POSTS WRITTEN THIS MONTH section in your income reports details. This could let people like us to go through them at the end of the month in case if we aren’t able to read them earlier.
I am so really waiting for the answer…
Thanks so much for the input! I think the number of posts will vary for each person. My blog first started to gain some traction around the end of my second month or beginning of the third, so I had written about 20 posts by then, and then it grew steadily from there. Some other bloggers might see traction sooner, others much later. It just really depends on the quality of the content and amount of energy people put into promoting it. I’m sorry I can’t give a more specific answer! I hope this helps! Have a great day!
~Abby =)
I’ve found paying for many of those expenses by year (not monthly) saves you at least 10% throughout the year. With so many expenses you may find it helpful! Love your encouraging income reports! Keep ’em coming!
Thanks, Rachel!
~Abby =)

I now believe financial report of your site is among its propellers. Simply put, it motivates ametuers to dare. Someone somewhere feels like to start something too. Something of their own and be proud of. And that someone is ME!
Great reports 🙂 They definitely help inspire and it’s great to see your beginning earnings all the way up to your current level.
Thank you Abby for being so transparent. As an ethical blogger I have decided to start revealing this information in a report – it’s a part of my commitment to transparency more so than inspiring people. For me, if I expect transparency from brands, I must be transparent with the way I run my blog. Would love to know your thoughts! xx

Hi, Jennifer! Congrats on being brave and putting yourself out there with an income report! It’s not always easy, but readers seem to appreciate transparency for sure. Hope you’re having a great day!

I am a graphic designer who works from home while managing two young kids…I found your blog and its very inspirational. I have been trying to figure out a way to share all of my little projects for my home, my struggles to make it as a stay at home “graphic designer” and fun projects with my kids. I know that I have to find a niche and I am still working on that. Thanks for sharing!
Aw, thanks so much, Heather! So glad it’s helpful for you! Happy Friday! <3

Hi Abby,
I have a question for you about affiliate marketing. I always like to use affiliate links because I like the idea of supporting bloggers when I like what they write. However, I live in the UK, so when I’m being directed to the American amazon website it’s really no use for me. I was wondering if you know whether or not you will still receive an income out of the affiliate links when, within the same session, I would change from amazon.com to amazon.co.uk (or any other country for that matter). I noticed it is possible to change to another amazon website at the bottom of the American amazon page.
I may not be able to buy the products you recommend, however I would still be happy to click on one of your links when I was planning to buy something from amazon anyway.
Cheers from London!
outstanding article like your posts great income
Thanks so much, John!
~Abby =)
This is so inspiring and fun to see! Thank you for sharing!
Hello! I’ve just subscribed to your step by step walk through of how to start a blog. I was wondering if all the downloads you suggested are compatible with IPads? Could a blog with the setup you suggest be run entirely from an iPad? Thanks again for your time!
It would be difficult to make this work from an iPad but I suppose it could be done.
Hello Abby,
I see that you have Building the Framework, but you also sponsor another program called Affiliate Marketing for Bloggers. I’m trying to decide which program to purchase but wanted to know what the differences where between the two.
Also, in Building the Framework, the mid-range course comes with 20 videos. I do not use WordPress, and so would like to know if those videos are focused on WP setups and themes? Any help you can provide would be greatly appreciated.
Framework covers a wide variety of topics while Affiliate Marketing for Bloggers is focused on affiliate marketing. Many of the Framework videos are WordPress focused. If you decide on Framework I recommend you purchase the eBook first to understand the big concepts and strategies. You always have the option of upgrading to the video tutorials and interviews later. Hope this helps!
I always read income proof of the bloggers to whom I follow. But, sometimes I read Income proof of random bloggers. I can say, you have achieved a lot.Great going.
Thanks so much, Sarika!

Hello Abby and Donnie!
I am a JAGAHB fan and I wanted to express how much I enjoy reading and following your blog. Your blog is so inspirational to us new bloggers. I wish I had found you back in 2013 when you started, but better late than never. 🙂 Your income reports are what drew me to your site and I’ve been impressed every since. I’d never come across or even seen any blog that offered their income information. Most just leave us to guess and wonder if it’s really possible to progress financially. This was a FANTASTIC way to build trust with your future audiences. God Bless, Angela
You are the sweetest! Thank you so much for your kind words, Angela! So glad it has been helpful for you… we love to hear that! Hope you’re having an awesome week! <3

OMG It Is Incredible, Your Income Report Motivated me. Thanks For Sharing
Hi Abby,
Thank you for the openness of your blogging. It is hard to find people willing to be as transparent as you are. I have only just started reading through your website over the last couple days and I am inspired by your story.
I’ll keep looking, but since your husband is now full time in this blogging business, are there any posts from him specifically? Talking about the experience from his perspective? As a husband and father, I would love to hear what he has to say. 🙂
I post occasionally, but nothing specifically related to what it’s like working with Abby on the blog. I will say that I love it!
Great job!
I’m new to your blog, but with numbers like that, I’m going to start reading.
Impressive.
Thanks so much, Patrick!
~Abby =)
That’s amazing. I was curious when you started blogging and I saw that your first post was January 2013, right? I’m a beginner, started my blog on the 14th of January this year. Is there a training or something you recommend?
Hi, Teodora! We will be launching our updated Building a Framework course on March 7th that I think could be very helpful. It will be here when the time comes: https://justagirlandherblog.com/framework/. Thanks and good luck on your blogging journey!

Yep! I didn’t know anything about blogging when I first started. I just worked hard and learned as much as I could! 🙂 Hope you’re having a great week!
~Abby =)
I just wanted to say that your income reports helped me a lot over the years. They provided a lot of motivation and they also helped me understand what tools might be useful to me as a blogger (the expenses part). It would be great if you continue sharing what tools and resources you use to power your blog, even without the numbers! Thanks so much and continued blessings to you and your family.
Hi, I’ve been wanting to write for a while. I write for myself, I have lots of notebooks of visions, visions and signs in dreams and really discovered how to know and love myself through creating intuitive art with mandalas. It is my passion. I found my passion in my 40’s and giving workshops now to help others learn about listening to their heart and learning about themselves and blocages through forms and colors. I could sell digitals of my creations, a coloring book etc….. I am an intuitive and know nothing about computers and when I try to learn about the technical stuff…I get stuck!!! I’m pretty good at researching, writing, emails but technical stuff get me stuck!! I’ve always dreamed of being my own boss and travel, I want a job where I can work and earn an income from wherever I am in the world. I need help to get started!! Your story inspires me. Thank you so much!
So glad it was helpful for you, Nathalie! Best of luck on your journey! <3
~Abby =)
