Just a quick question: Is it a mandatory thing to publish your income reports? I think I would find that a bit too transparent. Do you do it to teach others, or is there another reason? Thanks in advance for your reply!

Definitely not mandatory! The majority of bloggers don’t share income reports. We had just learned so much from other bloggers who had, so before we started making much at all, we started sharing our income in hopes that following our journey would help others be able to figure out this whole money and blogging thing too! Best of luck with your blog!

    Hi Abby,

I am not even sure if you ever read this comment of mine and I cant blame you either . You guys have been up to your new blog and I do understand there is soo much to do coupled with the responsibility of being a mother and a wife.
I am consistently working over my own blog and I seeing quiet a positive response gradually. But I always get to have this question in my mind when i am reading your posts. How many blog posts did you wrote that made your blog started having organic traffic. I mean there could be a rough answer to that like 200-300 or more than that. This at least give you an idea to make up your mind for targeting a particular amount of posts monthly. Your first income reports says you wrote a guest post in some other website which boosted yr traffic rapidly. But I never came across any such phrase like ” After this amount of blog posts your blog is capable of earning a little amount ….
Also i would like to suggest to add up POSTS WRITTEN THIS MONTH section in your income reports details. This could let people like us to go through them at the end of the month in case if we aren’t able to read them earlier.
I am so really waiting for the answer…

Thanks so much for the input! I think the number of posts will vary for each person. My blog first started to gain some traction around the end of my second month or beginning of the third, so I had written about 20 posts by then, and then it grew steadily from there. Some other bloggers might see traction sooner, others much later. It just really depends on the quality of the content and amount of energy people put into promoting it. I’m sorry I can’t give a more specific answer! I hope this helps! Have a great day!

For me, if I expect transparency from brands, I must be transparent with the way I run my blog. Would love to know your thoughts! xx

    Hi Abby,

I have a question for you about affiliate marketing. I always like to use affiliate links because I like the idea of supporting bloggers when I like what they write. However, I live in the UK, so when I’m being directed to the American amazon website it’s really no use for me. I was wondering if you know whether or not you will still receive an income out of the affiliate links when, within the same session, I would change from amazon.com to amazon.co.uk (or any other country for that matter). I noticed it is possible to change to another amazon website at the bottom of the American amazon page.

I may not be able to buy the products you recommend, however I would still be happy to click on one of your links when I was planning to buy something from amazon anyway.

    Cheers from London!

    Hello Abby,

I see that you have Building the Framework, but you also sponsor another program called Affiliate Marketing for Bloggers. I’m trying to decide which program to purchase but wanted to know what the differences where between the two.

Also, in Building the Framework, the mid-range course comes with 20 videos. I do not use WordPress, and so would like to know if those videos are focused on WP setups and themes? Any help you can provide would be greatly appreciated.

Framework covers a wide variety of topics while Affiliate Marketing for Bloggers is focused on affiliate marketing. Many of the Framework videos are WordPress focused. If you decide on Framework I recommend you purchase the eBook first to understand the big concepts and strategies. You always have the option of upgrading to the video tutorials and interviews later. Hope this helps!

Hi, I’ve been wanting to write for a while. I write for myself, I have lots of notebooks of visions, visions and signs in dreams and really discovered how to know and love myself through creating intuitive art with mandalas. It is my passion. I found my passion in my 40’s and giving workshops now to help others learn about listening to their heart and learning about themselves and blocages through forms and colors. I could sell digitals of my creations, a coloring book etc….. I am an intuitive and know nothing about computers and when I try to learn about the technical stuff…I get stuck!!! I’m pretty good at researching, writing, emails but technical stuff get me stuck!! I’ve always dreamed of being my own boss and travel, I want a job where I can work and earn an income from wherever I am in the world. I need help to get started!! Your story inspires me. Thank you so much!

Hi Abby. Thanks for sharing your incomes regularly. Your journey is really inspirational and motivating for new bloggers like me. Understood that it does takes time to earn good money blogging, however its worth it eventually. Thanks again for being so transparent in sharing your incomes. _Regards Kritesh

Thanks for sharing! I know money can be taboo but this has inspired me to try launching my own blog. No worries if not, but am wondering if one year later you still have strong earnings?
