Beautiful, Updated Bedding

Hey there, friends! I am so incredibly excited for this week’s bedroom post! If you’ve been to the blog recently, you know that we’re in the midst of a little master bedroom refresh around here. Each week I’ve been giving a little update on our progress, and this week I’m talking about bedding! It’s usually one of the first things you notice about a bedroom when you walk in, and having comfy covers can totally make the difference in getting a good night’s rest, right? If you remember, our old bedding situation looked a little like this:
Though I wasn’t completely off track– I knew I wanted white– I literally went out and bought the cheapest white duvet cover that I could find, and it didn’t take long before it started to yellow and get somewhat pill-y. Ick. When I was thinking about a replacement option, I scoured the web looking for ideas, and I kept coming back to the same duvet set over and over, so I knew it had to be “the one.”
The set I ended up going with was Crane & Canopy’s Linden Grey duvet + shams, and when it arrived, I was delighted to find that I loved it even more in person than I did on the computer screen. I didn’t even know that was possible!! It has just the look I was going for– classic, elegant, and just plain gorgeous!
The real test, though, was the coziness factor… would it feel as dreamy as it looked? Answer: YES!! Even Donnie noticed how much softer and more luxurious our bed felt, and that’s saying something! 🙂
The duvet looked beautiful on its own, but I also tried it out with a few throw pillows to bring in a little color, and I think they complemented each other perfectly. I love how the color really pops off the crisp, white background of the bedding set.
Though it feels like we’re sleeping in a fancy hotel rather than our regular, old room, I was pleasantly surprised at how affordable Crane & Canopy’s bedding is. It’s definitely not a budget buster, and since it is so well made, it will stand the test of time.

I am absolutely loving how your room is turning out! The bedding is gorgeous… And I love that wall! I have been looking for new sheets ever since I noticed ours were fading… Only in the middle where my husbands butt lays! Tmi? Either way new sheets are needed… I will have to hop over and check out what Crane and Company has!

The white looks so fresh and crisp. I love the look! And would love it at my house too, but the two year old has figured how to use the covers to pull himself up on the bed. Wash and wear has been given a new meaning.
