Hey there, friends! Welcome back to part two of our classic Christmas home tour! On Monday, I took you all around our main living space– the living room, dining room, and the Cs’ toy area, which becomes the backdrop for our tree at this time of year!

Since I took soooooo many pictures and went a little Christmas crazy (oops!), I broke the tour down into two parts, and today you’ll be seeing the most recently updated spaces in our home: the entry, the kitchen, and our master bedroom. Come on in and have a look around!

If you’re new around here, welcome! I’m so thrilled you’ve joined us for the tour! Our home is a small-ish 3 bedroom townhouse, so we have to get creative to really make the most of our space! Many of our rooms are interconnected and flow into one another, so defining the spaces well can be a challenge too. We recently completed a full kitchen remodel, and since that space is connected to our entryway, it got a little makeover as well!

I kept the main pieces– the rug, the bench, and the shelf– all very neutral so that it would be easy to dress them up for each season, and it was so fun adding all of the little Christmas touches!

The adorable wreath is from Wayfair, and I loved it so much that I ordered two! You’ll see the other one in the kitchen. 🙂 Most of the other items on the shelf were things I already had, including the DIY “O Come Let Us Adore Him” sign that I made two Christmases ago.

The little wire basket on the bench holds all of our Christmas cards– it’s easy to store them in there after we open them, and the Cs love to go over to the basket and look through them all again and again.

If you peek into the powder room that is attached to the entry, you’ll spot our thrifty Christmas vignette. Would you believe that the “print” is just a piece of wrapping paper with a deer head cutout I printed from the computer?! Easiest art ever!

I have kind of had a thing for deer in my decorating this holiday season– they’re popping up all over my house! And to think I used to make fun of my dad, the outdoorsman, for decorating with antlers… sorry dad! 😉

I told you that many of our spaces are connected! Here you can see how the entryway leads into the kitchen…

We just finished the kitchen in October, and I still smile with glee every time I walk in! (If you have seen the before pictures, you understand why!) The kitchen accents are typically aqua and green, but I brought in some red to match the holiday decor in the rest of the house for the next month or so!

I thought our little upcycled sideboard would be the perfect spot for a hot chocolate bar. The only problem was trying to get some photos of it before the Cs {and let’s be honest, Donnie too} started swarming in and stealing all of the toppings!

My sweet friend Caitlin (who shares my affinity for monograms!) made us these cute mugs, and I knew they would be the perfect final touch for our hot chocolate station!

Did you spy the other wreath? I love how it pops off of the crisp white cabinets!

All of the main decor pieces in the kitchen stayed pretty much the same– I just tweaked them a little bit to look a bit more festive!

Let’s head upstairs to the master! Again, like the entry, our bedroom has a fairly neutral base, so it is really easy to just switch out pillows and throws to match the season! I loved these plaid pillows from Wayfair the moment I saw them and knew they would be perfect with our bedding!

Donnie brings me a gift each morning of Advent because he loves me so much, hence the present on our bed… okay, I’m totally kidding; I just set that there because it looks cute for pictures! But now that I mention it, that doesn’t sound like a bad idea… 😉

Speaking of Donnie, I painted his dresser that blue color about a year ago now, and I still love it! It really pops in the otherwise-neutral room!

My dresser is a little more on the feminine side– gold everywhere! 🙂

I have my Bible open to the Christmas story at the end of our bed to remind us of the true meaning of the season. It’s too easy to get caught up in the craziness of this time of year and forget about why it’s a big deal in the first place!

What a beautiful home! We don’t really do much to make our home more Christmassy other than get and decorate our tree. You’ve given me some ideas though!

Super cute everything! Love the hot chocolate station, always a favourite this time of year 🙂 The kitchen #everythingswoonworthy and the bedroom (LOVE THAT WAINSCOTTING & BOARDING) that plaid ( I seriously am crushing on plaid this year, not just for Christmas). Your house is so cute and decorated so well, thanks for sharing!

  13. Jason McAfee says:

    Beautiful……love all the red accents.

  14. Thank you so much for offering such a wonderful giveaway! I would buy a new area rug for our living room.

  15. I just adore your house, one great idea after another. Is it really that clean all of the time? ::sigh:: Putting the soap pump on a cakestand may be the best idea that i have ever seen. It gets so yucky; I find myself cleaning the bottom of the soap pump all of the time!

Back on the contest widget they asked us to post on your site what we would buy from Wayfair if we won (which is confusing because no one else seems to be doing it). Well, I would get the Oxford Console Table and paint it red; not for Christmas, just because!

  16. Amy Orvin says:

I would buy the 72″ Cat Tree by Go Pet Club in black If I win the Wayfair giveaway.

  17. Sherry Fram says:

Your house is so pretty & festive! Love all the plaid touches! Thanks for the giveaway! If i won I would buy a coffee table.
