10 Beautiful and Affordable Aqua Area Rugs
It’s no secret that I kind of have a thing for aqua! I use it in our decor in nearly every room of our house, and I wear it as part of my wardrobe more often than I’d like to admit! It was no surprise, then, that when I started choosing area rugs for our new house, I immediately gravitated toward aqua for those as well.
I use aqua so much in our home because it gives a cheerful and cozy vibe and adds the perfect pop of color to any space. From coastal to traditional to farmhouse, aqua is easy to work into many different design aesthetics, and a rug is the perfect place to add in a gorgeous splash of color!

Obsessed much?! 😉
Since I have spent so much time looking at aqua rugs over the past few months, I thought it would be helpful if I rounded up a few of my favorites that I’ve found during my search! I tried to keep them fairly affordable, too– all of the rugs shown below are about $500 or less for the 8′ x 10′ version. Let’s take a peek!

Thanks Abby for this useful post! Moving into a new house next month, this is exactly what I was looking for, you’re saving me loads of time 🙂 Aqua is almost a new neutral, don’t you think?
Of course aqua is a neutral! 🙂 Best of luck with your move, Elise!

Gorgeous! I’ve been searching for an aqua rug for my kitchen, and one of these just might fit the bill. I’m curious, how does the one you have hold up with those inevitable kitchen stains?
So far, so good! We’ve had it about 6 months and it is still looking great! It’s small enough to be able to throw in the washing machine, which definitely helps. Hope you’re having a great week, Kalyn!

Great article, Abby. Aqua is beautiful and soothing. BTW, how were you able to create the vertical graphic at the top. I’ve followed your advice to join reward style, but having some challenges. I’m trying to do something similar to this on a blog post I just wrote (different topic, obviously). Which widget or app or whatever the heck are you using? And, how are you getting the graphics/words in there? Are you creating that on rstyle or separate (e.g. Canva). I know I’m missing something.
Hi, Debbie! I create those graphics using Photoshop but Canva would work, too! Thanks and have a great day!

Hi! Can you tell me where you purchased the white slip overs for your couches?
Hi, Sierra! They’re from IKEA! I wrote a post about them here: https://justagirlandherblog.com/change-the-look-of-your-living-room/
Thanks and have a great day!
