Updates to the Primary Bedroom

Waaaaaay back in July I revealed our new and improved master bedroom! At the time we thought we would be moving in the near future, so we decided to wait on purchasing a new rug for under the bed. We have since decided to stay a little longer, though, so my search for the perfect rug began. I was always keeping an eye out for “the one” when I was out shopping or clicking through my favorite online retailers, but when I stumbled upon the Fancy Trellis rug in gray by Mohawk Home, I knew my search was over.
Our room feels so much cozier now with the addition of the rug, and I think it has a more “complete” look to it too. Plus my feet get a treat every time I walk on it since it’s so cushy! 😀
My manly-man hubby always warns me against going “too feminine” {I can’t help it! I’m a girl!}, particularly in this space that we share, but he is also a huge fan and was especially impressed with the quality and thickness of the rug. {I hate to say “I told you so,” but… 😉 }
I am SO in love with the new addition to our room– I think it is just what we needed! I can honestly say: #ilovemymohawkrug !

Whoops! I forgot to that I would get a rug for our living room. Last summer we put in new hard wood floors and I think a rug would help to make the room feel a little more cozy.

Honestly, I could use one under my dining room table, in my living room to brighten it up, in my bedroom to add color, and in the soon to be bed/playroom that we will eventually put together for our first little one that’s due in a few weeks (we skipped the whole nursery thing.)

Hey! I just discovered this blog and think I’m going to be a regular now. I love this rug and your bedroom. I just redid my bedroom in the grays and mustard yellow and LOVE being in there now. My husband always thinks I am going too girly but gray is a great manly color 🙂 I hope I win!

Haha that’s sweet of you to think of me! 🙂 I was actually in Target today and noticed they had an end cap of Mohawk Home rugs… although they were all mixed up with other Target brands so I didn’t actually find many Mohawk ones, but I thought of you and couldn’t help but hope a little extra that I’m the lucky winner :).
