A Sweet and Simple Thank You Gift (with FREE Printable!)

A Sweet and Simple Thank You Gift by Just a Girl and Her Blog

Last week I wanted to put together a gift for the amazing volunteers that watch the children while my MOPS group meets. If you’ve ever been involved in MOPS, you know that this group of people is so special and so important to the MOPS ministry.

I knew I wanted the “thank you” gift to be meaningful, but I didn’t have tons of time, so this is the gift I ended up putting together. It’s sweet, simple, and to make it even easier on ya, I threw in a free printable! Can’t beat that!

Here’s what you’ll need to create this sweet and simple thank you gift:

  • Cupcakes (homemade or store-bought will do!)
  • Punch Cups (I got 10 for $1 at Dollar Tree!)
  • Ribbon
  • Cellophane Bags (20 for $2 at Wal-Mart!)
  • Thank You Tags (See printable below.)

I was going to just buy cupcakes, but I ended up falling back into my cheapskate ways and just making them myself. (with the help of my friend the Pillsbury Dough Boy, of course! 😉 ) While they were baking, I whipped up these cute lil’ printable tags:

What I love about this printable is that it can be used with any sweet treat from chocolate to candy to cake pops! They could be used to thank a teacher, host or hostess, friend or neighbor. The sky is the limit!

Once I cut out my tags and punched a hole in the corner of each one, all that was left to do was to put my now-finished cupcakes into the punch cups, stick each punch cup into a cellophane bag, and attach my tag with the ribbon to pull it all together.

This is a great gift for a group because it’s easy to make a lot of them at once! And sometimes when you make a lot, there are leftovers…

…which, clearly, little Caleb enjoyed immensely! 😉

What’s your simple go-to thank you gift?

Your little guy looks so adorable, reminds me so much of my boys when they were little. They had crew cuts also.
