Pink and Aqua Valentine's Shelf Decor by Just a Girl and Her Blog
I love pink! There's something so happy and girly about it...it just makes me smile! Because I live in a house full of boys, though, I don't get to incorporate pink into my decorating nearly as often as I'd like. But then Valentine's Day comes along, and for one small portion of the year, I have an excuse to pull out all the pink and girly-ness I want. Yay!

Since I already had my "Love" art that I created to remind me of my word of the year {shared at It's Overflowing here}, I decided to use that as a centerpiece on my shelves and create a pink and aqua vignette around it.

One of the things I love about my Valentine's shelf decor is that I had almost everything on hand to put it together. Simple white little pails, painted kebab skewers, and tissue paper puffs {tutorial found here} came together to create sweet mini topiaries.

Along with my "Love" canvas, I also created some simple framed art.

If you've been around the blog for a while, you'll probably remember my white felt flower wreath from Christmastime. I couldn't bear to put it away just yet, so I brought it inside, added a pink bow, and poof! A Valentine's wreath!

I really love the little Ball jar. It was actually part of a homemade candy dispenser I've had since I was a kid, but I like it better as part of our decor. 🙂

Pink, pink, and more pink! My boys may just have to learn to deal with this color on a regular basis, because I'm loving it! {What do you think, honey? 😉 } Okay, so I'm not sure they'd actually go for it, but I'll be enjoying it while it lasts! Have a great weekend!
