Free Party Planning Printable, Get Organized for Your Next Event

Summer seems to be party planning season around here. The warmer weather coupled with a whole host of birthdays, holidays, and other events creates the perfect excuse to have people over, whether it’s just a few family members or a huge blowout with friends!

I’ve found that no matter how big or small the get together, it’s always easier to pull off a party when you’re organized.

Free Party Planning Printable

I am a list maker. I make lists about what lists I have to make. (True story. 😉 ) But I also have a bad habit of writing lists or partial lists, then losing track of them or having parts of lists in different places. So to prevent that from happening in the future, I decided to get it together and keep track of everything in one place.

Enter, the “Event Information” super-duper fantastic party planning printable! I finally got smart and put all the info I needed on one page, and I’m sharing it with YOU so you can have the most organized little (or big) event in town too!

Organize Your Event Information with This Pretty Party Planning Printable

I love that I can keep it in my purse and pull it out when I am out shopping to check and see if there is anything I need to grab. I can also jot down notes to follow up on later so I didn’t forget any of my “brilliant” ideas. 😉

Since it’s summer and summer means there are a bunch of particularly patriotic events happening, I couldn’t resist making a cute red, white, and blue version of the printable too! (You could say it’s a particularly patriotic pretty party planning printable… that’s a lot of Ps! 🙂 )

There’s room for everything! It’s important to be able to access all of the party info–from food and decorations to vendor names and numbers. I also love crossing things off as I completed them. (I may have even added some things to my list just so I could cross them off… )

You’re so sweet. Unfortunately, the party took place during my little hiatus from blogland so was a very bad blogger and didn’t take any pictures! Actually, I tried, but my camera died. Oh well… that’s a great excuse to throw another one!

        1. abbylawson says:

Oh well! Another party it is, I guess! 😉

  5. I’m so printing these when I’m back home! I’m planning a minecraft party for my soon to he 8 year old. Then the geeky side of me has used excel in the past to organize a party 😉

    1. abbylawson says:

Ooh I love Excel too, so if that makes me geeky, I’m totally okay with it! 😉 Have fun with the minecraft party! Sounds like a great theme!!

      ~Abby =)

  6. I loved it when you said you have lists for lists you still need to write up…my desk is full of that exact thing!!! I’m really trying to get some organizing projects done this summer, maybe organize my lists, it’s always on the top of at least one of my many lists. I too am always trying to girly up things, as a wife and mama to 5 sons! There’s lots of cool boy themed parties though, not only the girls get to have fun! I hope you and your family have a wonderful party day together.

    1. abbylawson says:

5 sons?! Barbi, you are my hero! Most days I wonder how I can handle 2, lol! I love meeting a fellow list-maker–it’s almost therapeutic, right? 😉 Hope you have a wonderful week!

  7. Bethany the ngnrdgrl says:

Oh, I am definitely a list maker. Again, I make lists at work all the time. It is just nice to know you aren’t going to forget something (because it’s on your list) and nice to see stuff get crossed off. I am constantly trying to show my fiance how to do time blocking and list making… but he just doesn’t get it! haha!

    1. abbylawson says:

List makers unite! Lol. I would forget everything if I didn’t write it down. Sometimes I forget it anyway, haha. Hope you’re having a great week, friend!

      ~Abby =)

  16. This is this most awesome blogspot that I’ve seen so far. You have given me inspiration to possibly start my own blog; soon I will finally be retired, and must find something to do with my life. But first, I’m going to get organized with some of you great printables. Thanks so much for sharing.

    Many blessings.

    1. justagirlabby says:

Wow! Thank you, Ingrid! Your sweet comment totally made my day! If you end up starting your own blog, let me know– I’d love to check it out! Have a great day!

      ~Abby =)

  17. Lists are life savers! This is great, thank you so much! It will be much easier to have everything listed in one place, rather than scattered around everywhere. This will make planning parties much less stress free, thanks again!

  18. I love all these list makers who comment. Makes me feel part of a special group. I love the two color options. One thing I do for party planning is as soon as I start the planning I get a box and start placing things in it. This way items are not scattered in the pantry, hall closet, bedroom… So when it’s party time I have it all in one location.
Thanks again for the awesome freebie. Keep them coming!!!

    1. justagirlabby says:

Ooh great tip! Love that! So glad the printables are helpful, Jennifer! Have a wonderful weekend!

      ~Abby =)

      ~Abby =)

  20. Thank you for the printables. Your timing is perfect for the packing list. Keep them coming. Can you, please show your followers how you make some of these, please? Thank you!

    1. justagirlabby says:

Thank you, Kim! When people sign up for my newsletter (the little box in my header), I send a PDF on how to make your own organizational printables like this one! Hope this helps!

      ~Abby =)

  21. 😀 I hate lists, I only just started with them recently, after my DH kicked my but to get more organised, so far it is working and helping with organizing things but it hurts my brain to breaking things up and write everything down!! nice cute looking printables are so motivating for me, sometimes they are the only thing that keeps me on the track to getting more organised and subsequently less panicky 🙂 thanks!
