A Pinspired Baby Gift
Oh, how I wish I could take credit for this one. I was searching for a gift for a college friend who just had a baby and stumbled upon this little gem on –where else– Pinterest. I’m so sad that the link didn’t lead to anything, because I really wanted to thank the brilliant blogger who thought this up! {Update! I found the source here!} Here is the original pin:

I mostly stuck to the tutorial, but I did a few little things differently. I couldn’t find the pretty lace cupcake wraps, so I just used a standard cupcake liner inside of a jumbo cupcake liner. I also opted to use rubber-bands to secure the onesies instead of tape.
I was worried about finding the cupcake boxes, but my Wal-mart carried these plain white ones in the cake decorating section. I’m guessing that most craft stores would carry them and may even carry the decorative style as well.
I will definitely be keeping this idea in my back pocket for future baby showers. It was so simple and just too cute!

Hi Abby,
Thanks for taking the time to find the correct link to my DIY. I can’t tell you how many of these cute baby gifts I have made to date, but I as well finessed the DIY slightly. Instead of using tape or rubberbands, I actually folded over the end of the baby sock around the onesie cupcake roll, and that was enough to secure the roll. Thanks again for sharing.
