Free Printable Home Binder from justagirlandherblog.com

One of the reasons that I’ve gotten into organization and productivity is because I’m pretty naturally scatterbrained. I lose my phone several times per day. I tend to leave a trail of half finished projects in my wake. And if I don’t write it down, I can pretty much guarantee I’ll forget it.

Enter: printables! Printables have saved me so many times because they allow me to organize all of the important information I need to remember in one place.

For all of the most important printables that I use all the time, I put together a little Home Binder (sometimes called a Home Management Binder or Household Binder), so I can easily find what I need whenever I need it.

Before we jump into the Home Binder tour, here are a few of the items I use to put together my binder:

Free Printable Home Binder

The Home Binder Cover

A pretty cover always makes me want to open up my binder more often, so I started with that. The cover is sweet and simple and includes a line to write your name so the binder can always make its way back to you if it gets lost!

Goal Setting Worksheet

The very first thing I include in just about any binder I create is a goal setting sheet. I think goals are so important because they serve as a reminder of what I’m working toward!

Free Printable Goal Setting Sheet

This goal setting sheet is organized by priority. I find that this helps me make sure my goals are closely aligned with the things that are most important to me in life. You can read more about my goal setting philosophy here.

Home Binder Planning Printables

Next up is the “planning” section of the binder. Because I am a huge nerd (consider yourself warned 😉 ), this section has three subsections, the first of which is the monthly calendar.

Printable Monthly Calendar

Calendars can be used for SO MANY things, from planning out schedules to managing action steps for our goals to organizing events and more!

Monthly Calendar Printables

The calendar included here is intentionally undated so that it can be used for any year. It is also in portrait orientation and has a Sunday start. For more calendar options– including dated calendars for the current year, calendars in landscape orientation, and calendars with a Monday start, see this post.

Weekly Planning Printables

The second subsection of my “planning” category holds weekly planning sheets. I like to be able to plan specific goals for each week and schedule in time to work on them, so I created a printable to help me do just that.

For printables like these that I use often, I like to print out a bunch at a time and keep them in the binder so that I can just grab one at the beginning of each week and fill it out.

Free Weekly Planning Printable

To learn more about how I use this weekly planning printable to help reach my goals, see this post.

Planning My Day Printable

The third and final subsection under my “planning” tab helps me break down my day. I am a huge fan of time blocking, and this page helps me to schedule in everything I want to get done for the day so I waste less time and accomplish more.

Home Binder Daily Planning Printable

If you’re not familiar with time blocking, it is a time management strategy that has helped me become so much more productive! Learn more about time blocking and how I use it in this post.

So that wraps up the “planning” tab! Have I mentioned that I’m a bit of a planner? It’s true. 🙂

Tracking Printables

Next it’s on to the “tracking” tab. This section helps me keep track of little details so that I don’t miss a thing!

Password Cheat Sheet Printable

I am hopeless at remembering passwords, so I created a simple password cheat sheet to help me out. I’ll never have to worry about forgetting my password again!

Free Password Cheat Sheet Printable

Habit Tracker Printable

The other printable in this section is my habit tracker. I am always amazed at how checking off a little box can help me stay on track, building positive habits and getting rid of bad ones!

My Daily Habits Printable

For more information about tracking daily habits and why it works so well, see this post.

Household Organization Home Binder Printables

The household tab is up next, and it contains a super simple cleaning plan!

Cleaning Plan Printable

I have found that cleaning routines and preferences are usually pretty different from household to household, so I tried to keep it flexible enough to meet everyone’s needs.

Since many cleaning tasks are completed on a weekly basis, this printable has room at the top to plan out which tasks will be completed each day of the week. Then at the bottom there is space to list cleaning tasks that should be done daily, along with more infrequent tasks that need to be completed on a monthly or yearly basis.

Free Cleaning Plan Printable

I think I’ve printed and tried out every single plan ever pinned to Pinterest– complicated ones, straightforward ones, detailed ones– you name it, I’ve tried it! I ended up with this one because I felt like I could honestly commit to it and do it every day, and that’s the goal, right?

Project Planning Printable

We also do a ton of projects around here, so I’ve included the project planning sheet that helps me break down each one and list all of the nitty gritty details so that I don’t forget anything.

Project Planning Printable

This page has space to plan out everything I need to do for the project, what I need to buy, people to contact, and a space for tracking expenses so that I don’t go overboard!

Meal Planning Printables

I called the next tab “meal planning,” but really it’s just where I keep a bunch of copies of my organized shopping list. I know if I don’t have them printed out, I’m less likely to use them, so I just print a big stack, pop them in the binder, and grab one whenever I’m planning a shopping trip.

I’ve included a one-week version for people who do the grocery shopping every week and a two-week version for people who prefer to shop every other week.

Free Printable Grocery Lists

So that’s my home binder! I hope it will be as helpful for you as it has been for me!

  39. So this is horrible that I am finding this towards the end of the year but so happy that I did so that I can get started. Will you be updating at the end of the year for 2015?

  40. Hello!
Are there any particular label makers or binder dividers that you LOVE? Maybe you could link to them on Amazon? Thanks! This is SOOOO Helpful!!

    1. justagirlabby says:
      1. Thank You Abby! Ordering a bunch today!!

      2. Kim Vincent says:

Question: I went to the Amazon link for your label maker, and some of the negative reviews said that the font edges were jagged, that the font size was huge and couldn’t be changed when making “flag” labels (don’t know what “flag labels” are), and that it broke easily, and the Epson support was terrible. You mentioned that you love it. What do you like about it, and have you had any problems with it? Thanks so much for all you great ideas and inspiration, enjoy your blog very much!

        1. justagirlabby says:

Man, people are rough with reviews, lol! I have had my label maker for 3-ish years now, and I haven’t had any issues with jagged edges when printing and my machine is still going strong– no breaks. I have not tried the flag labels, so I’m not sure about that. I love it because it is easy to use, and I feel like the settings are pretty intuitive as far as changing font size, etc. It has never jammed for me, when other label makers I have owned did. I hope this helps! Have a great week, Kim!

          ~Abby =)

  41. I love the idea. Now I just have to implemented.

There is 2 sheets that your not giving an option to print.

  78. Abby!

I have searched high and low for resources. I am still working on being organized, but have found I need to take time to make time. Before you I was picking and choosing different pages from all over. You have an outstanding setup to your organization and explain it so well. I hope someday I truly have the ability to regularly lay out, organize, and follow through on the aspects of my life. I just wanted to let you know how much of an inspiration and help you are.

    1. Abby Lawson says:

Wow, thank you so much Karen! You made my day! I’m so glad it has been helpful for you… love to hear that. Hope you have an awesome week! <3

    1. Abby Lawson says:

Hi there! We do have kitchen inventory printables in our printables vault! They are in the “Printables from the Former Printables Vault” section near the bottom of the page. If you don’t have access to the vault yet, you can get the access info sent to you via email here: https://justagirlandherblog.com/free . I hope this helps! Have a great day!

tons of pop-up ads.. I entered my info for the free printable and got sent to a pay now for low price.. so they aren’t free???

    1. Abby Lawson says:

Hi, Elizabeth! The printables are free. We give our new subscribers a discounted price on our Declutter Your House in a Weekend program, so that was probably the paid offer you were seeing. If you didn’t get the email with access to the Home Binder, shoot us an email at hello@justagirlandherblog.com, and we would be happy to send it over to you!
