This free printable 2021 calendar will become your most favorite organizing tool! Plan your schedule, organize events, manage your goals, keep track of activities, and more!
It's calendar day! At this time of year I seem to get tons and tons of emails asking when the printable calendar for the next year will be available, and TODAY is the day!
It's funny-- several years ago, I used to work at a bank, and we would give out free calendars around the holidays. Sometimes starting as early as June or July, we would have customers coming in to ask when the calendars would be out. And when the calendars finally came in, people couldn't snag theirs fast enough! (They would sometimes even resort to sneaky trickery to try to get more than one. There wasn't even anything that special about the calendars we handed out!)
There just seems to be something about calendars that gets people excited. Maybe it's all of the possibilities that a fresh new calendar represents. Maybe we're drawn to the order and organization aspect of it all. Or maybe we just like free stuff! 😉
I can totally understand the excitement, to be honest. These cute and simple monthly calendars are helpful for so many things. And now that life is looking a little different with working and schooling from home, Zoom meetings galore, and more, keeping track of important online meet ups and events is more important than ever!
How to Use the Free Printable 2021 Calendar
Of course these calendars help me keep track of my schedule, but I’ve also used them for a ton of other things like…
- listing appointments, meetings, and commitments for each month
- keeping track of children’s school events, activities, practices, and special days
- setting deadlines and planning details of short & long-term projects
- keeping track of workouts
- developing a habit that I’m trying to establish
- keeping a food log
- keeping track of medications that need to be taken
- tracking daily symptoms of an illness
- writing down a favorite moment from each day of the year
- tracking a baby or child’s milestones
- making a reading plan or tracking how many minutes I’ve read each day
- creating an “acts of kindness” calendar
- making a schedule for all of the projects we want to complete in our home this year
- counting down to an important event
- managing my blog’s editorial calendar
- keeping track of events and meetings for a club or organization
The sky is the limit!
Whatever your next big goal is, using a simple calendar to plan out your action steps in advance will make it much more likely that you'll accomplish your goal and not give up. Calendars can help us take a big, daunting task and break it down into smaller, more manageable chunks.
If we can consistently take baby steps toward our goal each and every day, we'll find that we can accomplish it more quickly than we ever would have imagined! And that is a pretty amazing thing.

Even More Printable Calendar Options
Last year I realized the need for more variety in the calendars that I offered on the blog. While the landscape orientation, Sunday-start calendars are what I happen to use most often in my life, I know that's not the case for everybody!
Most calendars may start on Sunday here in the United States, but many other countries recognize Monday as the start to their week rather than Sunday. Some people prefer calendars in portrait orientation rather than landscape. Sometimes you might want to create a calendar for a future year, so an undated calendar may be more helpful. We have all of those options and more available to grab in this printable calendar post if they would be helpful for you!
My hope is that by providing these simple printable calendars, we can help you get a little bit closer to reaching your goals, help life feel a little less chaotic and a little more at peace, help your family get on the same page so you can spend more meaningful time together, help establish effective routines that will improve your life, and more. A little bit of planning and organization can really go a long way!
