The 2016 Intentional Life Planner Is Here!

The 2016 Intentional Life Planner | JustAGirlAndHerBlog.com

Oh happy day! I am so THRILLED to announce that The 2016 Intentional Life Planner is here at last! We have been working so hard to create a planner that is both goals focused and productivity driven, and I’m so excited to be able to share it with you today!

Along with the standard weekly and monthly planning pages, The Intentional Life Planner includes room to dream big, set goals, and truly make the most of your time. It comes in PDF format so that you can print it however you like, and it is available in both standard 8.5″ x 11″ size as well as a junior size that can be printed on 5.5″ x 8.5″ half sheets!

You can head over to the landing page for more info or you can snag your planner.

I love, love, love printables– especially printable planners– but sometimes they can be a little bit intimidating to put together. So to help make it a little easier, I put together a video showing how I assemble my planner, from cutting down the pages for the junior planner, to how to print double sided, to which hole punches I use to make sure my planners fit perfectly in their binders! {Please note that all computers and printers differ, so your process might be slightly different than mine. I always recommend printing a few test pages before you send your whole planner to print so that you can make sure everything is lining up correctly.}

I have already been getting questions about binder and planner supplies, so I rounded up some of my favorites to share with you all! I was actually kind of surprised at how difficult it was to find pretty planner accessories when I was putting mine together, so hopefully this list will be helpful!

Large Binders

The 2016 Intentional Life Planner | JustAGirlAndHerBlog.com

1. Multi-Colored 3-Ring Binder by Greenroom– This is the binder I used for my large planner. It is from Target and is only available in store. The website said it wasn’t available at my local Target, but when I went to look, there were plenty of them, so be sure to check in your store!

2. Large Aqua Binder by See Jane Work

3. bloom daily planners Binder, Mint Damask

4. bloom daily planners Binder, Navy Chevron

5. bloom daily planners Binder, Purple Damask

6. bloom daily planners Binder, Pink Bloom

7. Martha Stewart Home Office Aqua Binder

Small Binders

The 2016 Intentional Life Planner | JustAGirlAndHerBlog.com

1. Small Black and White Binder by Mara-mi– This is the binder I used for my junior planner. Like the Greenroom binder above, I found it at my Target, even though their website said it wasn’t available at my store.

2. Small Gold Polka Dot Binder by Divoga– This binder is really cute. The rings are a tiny bit too small to hold all 14 months that the planner comes with, but if you’re just planning on using it for the 12 months of 2016, it should fit just fine.

3. Russell + Hazel Mini Binder, Marble

4. Russell + Hazel Mini Binder, Selby

5. Russell + Hazel Mini Binder, Calhoun

Tabbed Dividers & Hole Punches

The 2016 Intentional Life Planner | JustAGirlAndHerBlog.com

1. Avery Multicolor Big Tab Dividers– I used these for my large binder, then covered the tabs with washi tape to make them a little more fun! I then labeled the tabs using my label maker and clear label tape.

2. Avery Multicolor Small Tab Dividers– I used tabs similar to these for my small binder, then again used my washi tape + label maker method for labeling.

3. Heavy Duty Hole Punch– I like to use this for my larger binder because it can punch a lot of pages at the same time.

4. Swingline Adjustable Hole Punch– I use this punch for my smaller binder because it has adjustable feet, making it easy to fit to my junior binder.

Printer and Paper Supplies

The 2016 Intentional Life Planner | JustAGirlAndHerBlog.com

1. HP OfficeJet Printer– This is an updated version of the printer we have. Our printer is so old that they don’t even make it anymore, but I love it so much I can’t get rid of it! 🙂

2. Hammermill Copy Paper, 32 lb., 100 Bright

3. Cricut Paper Trimmer– This is what I use to slice down my full size paper into half sheets for the junior planner.

4. Half Letter Size Paper– If you don’t want to cut your own paper for the junior planner, you can buy it pre-sliced!

  3. Is there a problem with the link to buy this? Or is it not set up for international purchases? Can’t wait to get myself organised xx

    1. justagirlabby says:

Hi, Jacque! So sorry it’s giving you trouble! It should work for international purchases… can you let me know what it’s doing when you try it? I will try to figure it out! I apologize for the inconvenience!

  5. Jess @ Make and Do Crew says:

I think I need to check out your time blocking printable stat. How do you find it works with having kids around? I feel like I spend my days running in circles, picking up the same sock 98 times and never actually feeling like I accomplished anything. Maybe next year you can create a planner with a built in nanny?

  6. This planner is so cute and well organized (although in mot sure what to do with kids/pets section) but anyhow, I can’t wait to order my very own copy and I hope it looks as pretty as yours. 2016 might just be the year where I actually plan everything out.. and become organized. Thanks for this lovely creation! ?

  7. Abby,

Is it possible for the digital file to be editable? That way I can have my dates/comments printed on the calendar instead of handwriting everything.

    –Lynne

    1. justagirlabby says:

Hi, Lynne! We don’t have an editable version at this time, but we will keep that in mind for the future. So sorry about that! Have a wonderful week!

      ~Abby =)

  8. I was unsure about another paper/pen blog as I’ve gone digital over the last few years. However, when I polled some of my social media friends I discovered how many people still swear by paper/pen, even if they also use their electronic calendars. The arguments they brought up, along with a lot of your advice about goal setting, made sense, and I’m giving it another try. I like the time and thought you put into it. We will see how the year goes!

  9. Hello Abby,

How many sets of tabs do we need?

    Thank you.

    1. justagirlabby says:

Hi, Malinda! I used 14 tabs on my binders, so if you’re purchasing a 5-pack, you will need three of them, and if you are purchasing an 8-pack, you will need two of them. Happy planning!! 🙂

      ~Abby =)

  10. Luci Van Halen says:

Hi Abby! I just bought the planner! In the following days I’ll put it up and then I’ll show you all my finished planner!

Greetings from Argentina! (I hope I find here as pretty binders as the ones you showed us!) 😀

    1. justagirlabby says:

Thank you so much, Luci! I would love to see it! Happy planning! 🙂

      ~Abby =)

      1. Luci Van Halen says:

Thanks! You are such a kind and good-hearted person.
I will post photos of my finished planner on instagram so maybe I can tag you there for you to see it.
        Greetings and Happy Holidays!

  11. Love this! How much would it cost to print at Kinkos?

    1. justagirlabby says:

Hi, Tenessa! I’ve never sent mine out to be printed because I feel like the quality is better from my home printer, but I know that full color printing can get pretty pricey. Sorry I don’t have a more exact answer for you!

      ~Abby =)

  12. Tes Scholtz says:

Woohoo! I just finished printing mine! I was sure I was going to screw up the flip side, but as long as you take a second to pay attention and think about how your printer works, it’s SO easy, and it looks awesome!! The design is just perfect. It’s pretty, cheerful, and colorful, but doesn’t use a ton of ink. I absolutely love it. Now to hole punch it and get it in the binder. Can’t wait to crush 2016 with this!! 😀

    1. justagirlabby says:

Awesome! SO glad you love it! Hope you’re having a wonderful week and fabulous start to 2016! ~Abby =)

  13. Hi, I have the Intentional Life planner all printed off in the large size. And ready to assemble. I see you have a tour for assembling the Home Planner…that is different than the Intentional planner, correct? So is there a tour or explanation on how to use the intentional? Thank you

    1. justagirlabby says:

Hi, Helen! The Home Binder is Simplify, which contains 35+ organizational printables. They are available on their own or bundled with the Intentional Life Planner. I share how I use my planner for goal setting here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=i6XwcIE8Ves. Thanks and have a great day!

      ~Abby =)

  14. Hi Abby! How do we pay you for the deluxe printables?

    1. justagirlabby says:

Hi, Saarah! This is an older post and we no longer have the Intentional Life Planner, but all of the deluxe printables and binders we have for sale can be purchased through our shop: abbyorganizes.com. Have a great day!

      ~Abby =)
