Thinking Outside the Gift Box Giveaway | JustAGirlAndHerBlog.com

So a few months ago I wrote this little teeny itty bitty eBook for bloggers called Building a Framework. It was my first eBook, and I was pretty nervous about how the whole launch thing would go. It ended up going better than I ever could have imagined, but that never would have been the case without my amazing bloggy friends who helped me along the way. One of my biggest cheerleaders throughout the process was my dear friend Lauren from The Thinking Closet, and today I am delighted to be the one cheering her on as she is launching her very first eBook this week!!!

Lauren has many awesome talents, but one that doesn't take long to discover is her amazing heart for gift giving. She always seems to have the perfect gift for every person in her life, and when she realized that others often struggled with finding the perfect gift, she decided to put all of her secrets in eBook form so that no one would ever have to worry about picking out a gift again!

Thinking Outside the Gift Box Giveaway | JustAGirlAndHerBlog.com

I had the privilege to preview Thinking Outside the Gift Box, and not only did I come away with tons of wonderful gift ideas, I was also totally inspired to give more gifts-- even just small things-- to those around me. Lauren mixes personal anecdotes in with practical tips and ideas, making the book not only very, very helpful, but an extremely enjoyable read as well!

AND I am so super excited today because in celebration of her big eBook launch, Lauren is offering up a giveaway basket for one lucky Just a Girl and Her Blog reader!! Woohoo!

I am smiling from ear to ear after reading your encouraging words. I feel forever indebted to you for the boatloads and boatloads of help you sent my way - - from tips on how to write an eBook to the technical side to allowing me to interview you. (I can't believe it's the first video you've ever shared. You rocked it, girl! Such a natural.) I probably need to go back and count how many questions I asked you and send you a tin of cookies for every one. You are truly one of the most generous people I have ever known!

I also love gift - giving! Whether it's a list of things I appreciate about the person, a photo scrap book, or even a more expensive gift. I give my husband a gift each day in December up until the 25th, they're fun and inexpensive until the end but they keep us both smiling!

The most meaningful gift I ever received was a birthday gift my husband gave me. He asked all my friends and family to write a short note to me saying happy birthday and a memory they had of me. He put it all together in an album and whenever I'm feeling down, I go look through that album and it makes me smile.

Giving gifts at Christmas and anytime is one of my favorite ways to be creative. I like to make the wrapping and presentation of the present a part of the gift. It is fun to find colors of bags and papers that the person really likes and then add interesting things like small pinecones, twigs, feathers, seashells, and various other things to make the decoration more individualized. I do this with the envelopes for the greeting card that goes with the present, too. All that being said, I can hardly wait to begin wrapping for this year.

I love giving unique and thoughtful gifts, but it isn't always easy to come up with ideas. I would love winning the prize and getting some new ideas and inspiration.

My sister had a copy of my grandmother's bracelet made for me. I think I have had it off for one day in over a decade.

One year on Valentine's day my husband made a tape recording of himself telling me all the reasons he loved me. He also left a mix tape with all our songs on it in my seat! So when I went to work..I got to listen to him and then listen to all our songs.
