10 Best Christmas Gifts for Organization Lovers!

I’ve rounded up the 10 best gifts for organization lovers that will be perfect for the organizer on your Christmas list!

Home Organization- Top 10 Best Gifts for Organization Lovers, Organizing, gift guide, top gifts, get organized, organize your life, Silhouette Cameo cutting machine, DYMO MobileLabeler label maker, caddy, clear acrylic drawers, travel toiletry bag, RASKOG rolling cart, Fujitsu ScanSnap scanner, packing cubes, Scotch thermal laminator

Since the holidays will already be here before we know it, I decided to have a little “gift week” on the blog this week and will be sharing my favorite gifts for both organizing and decorating!

Any gift that helps me get more organized is always on the top of my list, so today I’ve compiled the 10 best organizing items that would make great gifts for your favorite organization lover! (Or you can just send the link to this post to your husband or significant other as a not-so-subtle hint at your wish list this year! 😉 )

I tried to choose items that would be helpful for just about everybody, so hopefully my list will give you some good ideas! (And if you have any organization gift ideas to add, I’d love for you to leave them in the comments below!)

#10- Laminator

I pull out my laminator all the time for organizing projects. If I make my own labels in Microsoft Word or Canva, I will print them off on card stock and then run them through my laminator to make them more sturdy.

I will also laminate things like chore charts for my kids or my pantry inventory sheet so that I can use a dry erase marker to fill them in, making them easy to erase and use the same sheet over and over again instead of printing a new paper each time.

I’ve had my laminator so long that they’ve created a newer version of it, and you can find it here.

#9- Packing Cubes

Donnie and I both like to use little packing cubes when we travel to keep our suitcases neat and organized so it’s always easy to find what we need. (He has these ones, and I have these ones.)

You could also use them around the house to keep a grouping of toys together, corral hair accessories, store sports uniforms or really gather any group of items that you want to keep together.

#8- High Speed Scanner

We have talked about our paperless system several times on the blog, and it’s still working amazingly well for us! We have tried out a bunch of different scanners and love our Fujitsu ScanSnap the most because it is easily portable and allows us to scan a bunch of pages in a short amount of time.

This helps us to eliminate paper clutter in our home and also helps us store our important information digitally so that we can access it any time we need it!

#7- Rolling Cart

I am a huge fan of rolling carts because they are so incredibly practical! They are an easy way to add storage to a small space or just create a little “station” for any activity in your home. We have the RASKOG cart from IKEA, and it is currently being used as an art station in our boys’ playroom, but we’ve also used it for kitchen storage, accessory storage in a closet, and toy storage.

#6- Toiletry Bag

My sweet aunt gave me this toiletry bag for Christmas more than 15 years ago now, and it comes with me on every single trip I ever go on! It is so old that it has my maiden name initials on it, and it’s still in great shape!

L.L. Bean still sells these and they are so handy for taking toiletries, cosmetics, and accessories with you so you can be organized whenever you travel. It comes in so many different colors, and you can still get it monogrammed as well. This may be the Christmas gift I’ve had the longest of any gift I’ve ever received, and I’m still loving it!

#5- Acrylic Drawers

I tried not to put too many “bins” on this list because everyone’s spaces have different needs, but these cute acrylic drawers have been one of the most favorite organizing items that people have loved out of anything I’ve shown on my blog and YouTube channel so far!

We currently use them to organize under our kitchen sink, which isn’t very exciting, but they could be used to organize just about anything small enough to fit– hair accessories, makeup, k-cups, pens/pencils/markers, craft supplies, stationary– the sky is the limit. They are cute and stackable, and you can add a pretty label to the front to make them extra organized.

#4- Organizing Caddy

This gift lets you get a little creative! Grab a cute caddy– I like this mint one— and fill it with all sorts of fun organizing supplies. Some ideas could be washi tape, cute tags for labeling, Sharpies, a tape measure, scissors, post it notes or tabs, Command Strips– there are so many things you could put in here, depending on what the recipient would need and love!

#3- DYMO MobileLabeler Label Maker

I just purchased this label maker recently, and it makes me want to label everything in my house! It connects to my phone via Bluetooth, and I use its app to create pretty labels in all sorts of cool fonts and designs!

Label created with my DYMO MobileLabeler

I usually use clear tape with black ink in my labeler, but there are a ton of other tape colors you can choose from to really customize your labels. Organization lovers will totally nerd out over this label maker!

#2- Silhouette Cameo

This is the other machine I use often to make labels on the blog and YouTube channel!

Labels made with my Silhouette Cameo

It can also do so much more than just make labels! I use it all the time for both decor and organization projects, and though it is a bit of a splurge, I have loved it to really be able to cut any design I want out of vinyl or paper and make pretty labels so that all of the areas of our house stay neat and tidy! (You can see how I make labels with my Silhouette machine in this post.)

Again, I’ve had my machine for so long that they now have a newer version, and you can find it here.

#1- Project Time + a Gift Card

The number one thing people tell me keeps them from getting as organized as they’d like to be is TIME, so that is my #1 gift idea!

You could either give the recipient your time to help them with an organization project that they’re dying to tackle or if they’re a parent, you can offer to watch their kiddos so that they have time to do their organizing in peace!

Throw in a gift card to their favorite organizing spot like The Container Store or IKEA or Target, and you have a ready made gift that your favorite organizer will love! I’m even providing cute free printable certificates that you can print out to make it even easier!

So for example, I would be over the moon if someone said, “I know you’ve been wanting to organize your office, so I’m dedicating this whole weekend to helping you tackle it, and here’s a gift card you can use to buy all of the supplies you need!” Best. Gift. Ever. (Husbands: pay attention to this one! You will get major husband points for months or even YEARS to come! 😉 )

So those are my top 10 favorite gifts for organization lovers! I know there are so many more that I could have added to the list, so I would love to hear what you would add in the comments below!

  4. Ember @ An Intentional Lifestyle says:

The laminator is amazing, right? I homeschool and it is the best thing to buy for most any mom! Now if I can remember to laminate other important papers to keep in good condition, we’d be in business! 🙂

Loved this list and just bought the Fujitsu ScanSnap immediately after watching your YouTube post yesterday. It arrived today, and I’m so excited to use it and go paperless. Merry Christmas to me;)
Thanks for the recommendation and this great roundup!

  6. Vicki Bray says:

Great ideas! I have the L.L. Bean travel bag too! I have also probably had it as long as you. It is very durable and I find it is easy to wipe off and keep clean even if something accidentally spills. I have been thinking lately of getting a smaller one and using for my travel sewing/projects.

    1. justagirlabby says:

Isn’t it so great? I love it! A smaller one would be awesome, too!

      ~Abby =)

  9. Hi Abbey,
Would you please be able to advise exactly which toiletries bag you have? I looked on the site but it’s hard to tell which size yours is? Do you find it the best size? I have been on the hunt for the perfect one, so it’s heloful to get your recommendation!
    Thanks, Joanne

    1. justagirlabby says:

Hi, Joanne! I’m pretty sure mine is the one I linked to in the post, the medium size. Mine is 15+ years old, so the design might have changed slightly, but it is pretty much the same. 🙂

      ~Abby =)

      1. Thanks Abbey. Unfortunately when I click on the link it comes up with a message ‘invalid URL’ and I needed to go to the homepage which has all their products – which is why I didn’t know which size you had. Do you manage to get all your toiletries in it – including hair products and make up or do you still need another bag for those things?

        1. justagirlabby says:

Oh that is so weird! I’m not sure why the link isn’t working for you! Try this one: https://www.llbean.com/llb/shop/73882?feat=507361-GN3&page=personal-organizer-toiletry-bag-medium&csp=f . I do put all of my toiletries, hair products and makeup included, inside. The only thing that may not be able to fit is a hair dryer if you have a large one. When I have had bigger hair dryers, I have had to put them in a separate spot, but when I have a medium to small one, it will fit in the bag with everything else. I hope this helps!

          ~Abby =)

          1. Thanks – that does answer my question. Sorry to be a bother but still getting message. Invalid URL. Please continue by going to our Home Page…
            I am in Australia … maybe that’s why it won’t connect. ?

          2. justagirlabby says:

Oooh I bet that’s why! Well hopefully it’s clear which one is the medium size. Gotta love technology, right?! Lol

            ~Abby =)

  10. Alix @A Hedgehog in the Kitchen says:

Hi Abby! I love this post – thanks for sharing these great gift ideas. I have a technical question.:) I’m wondering how you create the pretty title image with the small icons showing each gift on a white background. (Haha – hope it’s clear what I’m talking about!) Are you using Canva for that?

    1. justagirlabby says:

Hi, Alix! I do it in Photoshop, but you could do something similar in Canva or PicMonkey as well!

      ~Abby =)

  11. This is great! I think you could also call it ten things for people who hate to organize! LOL I could use all of these!

    1. justagirlabby says:

Lol! That’s true… could be helpful for anyone! 🙂 Hope you’re having a great week, Heather!

      ~Abby =)

  12. I never used to use packing cubes, but when I got a backpack that was really hard to organize, I splurged a bit for them. Now, I use them every single time I travel. I so recommend them to someone who travels a lot as they’re just very handy for saving space. Great ideas!

    1. justagirlabby says:

Aren’t they amazing? We LOVE them! Thanks for stopping by, Karen! Have a great week!

      ~Abby =)

  13. I could definitely use one of those rolling carts! I’ve come to the realization recently that I’ve amassed a wide array of craft supplies (thanks to my daughter always wanting them) and it’s gotten to the point where I think we could justify having an entire cart dedicated to them. And being able to roll them around to wherever she needs them would be super handy!

    1. justagirlabby says:

They really do come in handy! Hope you have a wonderful holiday, Steve!

      ~Abby =)

  14. Laminator link lost in amazon. Please revise.

    1. justagirlabby says:

Thanks so much for the heads up! I just updated it! 🙂

      ~Abby =)
