Life can feel totally crazy sometimes. We pack so much into our days, and it can still seem like it's not enough. "The house needs to be cleaned, I need to plan that get-together I'm in charge of, the kids need my help, and don't even get me started on that new exercise routine that I was supposed to start last week..."
In the midst of the chaos, sometimes what we need is a plan, a system for turning all of this craziness into a manageable, organized life that leaves us plenty of time to do the things we really love. Sometimes, we need to simplify.
When life starts to feel crazy at my house, the first thing I do is reach for a printable. Getting all of my ideas and to-dos organized in one place helps me to make sense of the chaos, prioritize, purge the unnecessary, and truly make the most of my time.
Years ago, I started putting together a home binder full of my organizational printables so that I could easily manage different areas of our lives. When I realized that others were having the same struggles as I was in the areas of organization and productivity, I decided to share my home binder in hopes that it could help others streamline their lives in the same way it had helped me, and Simplify: 35+ Printables to Help You Organize Your Life was born.
Ready to take control and organize your life?
Your purchase includes a 200+ page full size (8.5" x 11") planner that runs from August 2016 through December 2017 AND a junior size (5.5" x 8.5") planner with the same date range, both in PDF format. A helpful Getting Started Guide, which walks you through the goal setting process and provides instructions for printing your planner, is also included.
Busy. If there's one word I hear women use to describe the current state of their life, "busy" would be it. We take on a lot in our days, and it can be tiring, overwhelming, and stressful. But what if this next year could be different? What if instead of just trying to attend to the emergency of the moment, we could be more intentional about the way we spend our time? What if we could waste less time, accomplish more, and get out of the busy-ness rut? The Intentional Life Planner is designed to help you do just that.

About the Creator
Hi, I'm Abby, the girl behind Just a Girl and Her Blog, where I write about organization, home decor, creative ideas, and random happy thoughts. Once burnt out and overwhelmed by my ever-growing to-do list, I made it my mission to find a system of productivity that is both simple and effective, and I love sharing what I've learned with others who are striving to do the same!
My most favorite job, though, is still wife to my husband Donnie and mama to my two little Cs. When we're not blogging, you can find us running on the local trails, testing out every playground known to Pittsburgh, or cheering on the black and gold.
What is the best way to print Simplify and The Intentional Life Planner?
What's the difference between Simplify and The Intentional Life Planner? Do I need just one or both?
I bought Simplify and/or the planner last year. What's new in this version?
Simplify is a collection of organizational printables that includes cleaning charts, a budget binder, a recipe binder, chore charts for kids, medical information sheets, vehicle maintenance logs, etc. It does include some planning printables, but they are undated and are not set up in planner format.
The Intentional Life Planner is a printable planner that matches the design of Simplify. The planner includes yearly, monthly, and weekly calendar pages dated for the end 2016 as well as 2017, with days broken down for time blocking. It also includes sheets to help you set long-term, yearly, monthly, and weekly goals.
Whether you need one or both is totally dependent on your goals! I use both. I use The Intentional Life Planner to keep track of my schedule, appointments, and day to day planning. I then put together a home binder with my printables from Simplify where I keep my grocery lists, planning printables for events and holiday get togethers, financial printables, my kids' info, etc. These two resources are designed to compliment one another and allow for planning in all areas of life!
What size paper should I use for the junior planner and printables?
Is this a physical home binder and planner that will be shipped to my house?
This is a digital product, so nothing will be shipped. You will receive PDF files of the planning and printable pages in both sizes and the Getting Started Guide.
You can print the planner on your home printer or have it printed at a print shop or office supply store. Detailed printing instructions and a print release form are included with your purchase. You can also see a video of how I put my personal planner together in this post.
I really like your binder/ tabbed dividers/ planner accessories. How can I get the same ones?
The junior planner and printables are designed to fit on half sheets of standard letter-size (8.5" x 11") paper. You can cut the sheets in half yourself or purchase pre-sliced half sheets. You will need 5.5" x 8.5" pages.
A complete list of my favorite binders and planning supplies can be found in this post.
A LOT! :) The color scheme and design are totally new, with Simplify and The Intentional Life Planner matching perfectly. Simplify includes a few new printables, and of course the planner is dated for 2016-2017. Both resources include a standard 8.5" x 11" version AND a junior size 5.5" x 8.5" version.
