Oh how I love cute Valentines! Over the years, I’ve shared quite a few free printable Valentine cards here on the blog (including these bright and cheery “Have a Ball” Valentines and some cute printable love notes here), and now I’m adding one more type to the collection!

Today I have some fun LEGO – inspired Valentine’s Day printables that my building-obsessed little guy will be taking to his classmates this year! If you have a master builder at your house too, you can snag these printables for them as well.

These LEGO Valentines are easy to assemble, and you’ll only need a few simple supplies.

DIY LEGO Valentine Card Supplies

1. Print the LEGO Valentine cards.

First, I printed out my tags on white card stock. This makes them a little sturdier and easier to work with, though if you only have regular paper available, that works too!

The LEGO Valentines include two sayings… “Everything is awesome…because we’re friends!” and “Thank you for always building me up!” You can snag both sets below.

other lego sayings

Going to create your own Lego Valentine’s? Here are a couple of other cute sayings for the occasion.

  • “We are built to be friends.”
  • “Our friendship was built to last.”
  • “I would walk on LEGOs for you.”
  • “Don’t LEGO of my heart.”

2. Cut out the free printable LEGO Valentine tags.

I then used my paper trimmer to cut out each tag. I like the trimmer because I think it’s quicker and it makes nice straight lines, but scissors will work just fine as well!

3. Punch holes in the LEGO Valentines and sign the cards.

Once the tags were cut out, I punched a hole in the upper left corner of each one and had my son sign his name. (We did it in several sittings, as his attention span would only allow him to do about four at a time! 🙂 )

Once he had signed each card, I could put everything together.

4. Assemble the LEGO Valentines.

A note about the LEGO packs: I initially found these little packs of bricks in the party favor section at Target, but they are no longer sold. An easy way to create the same thing would be to just buy a set of mixed bricks and split them up among the number of bags you need to create. Placing the bricks directly into the cellophane bags will work just fine!

Steps for Assembling LEGO Valentine Bags

1. Each Valentine needs one tag, one pack of LEGOs, one cellophane bag, and one length of ribbon.

2. I dropped the LEGO pack into the cellophane bag…

3. …and threaded the ribbon through the hole I had punched in the tag.

4. I then tied the ribbon with the tag on it around the cellophane bag, knotting it just above the pack of LEGOs.

5. I used a pair of scissors to curl the ends of the ribbon.

6. And I had my cute LEGO – inspired Valentines that my son was oh-so-excited about!

Caleb can’t wait to hand these out to his classmates (and snag one for himself, too)! I hope your little one will enjoy these cute printable LEGO Valentines as well!
