Baby Blue Punch

I originally stumbled across this punch recipe here when I was looking for a cute idea for a friend’s baby shower, and it has since become my go-to punch recipe for many different events. My big C requests it all the time and gets so excited when I finally make it for special occasions. In fact, he loves it so much that I made it for his Scooby Doo fourth birthday party:

Punch

And his Thomas the Train third birthday:

Bullstrode

I’ve also made it as it was originally intended, for baby showers.

Baby Shower

Not only is this punch absolutely yummy, it is also super simple, which is why I <3 it so much.

Ingredients

Ingredients

2 liter bottle of Sierra Mist (or other lemon-lime soda/pop)
64 ounce bottle of white cranberry juice (I’ve used white grape, too, which is also yummy!)
0.13 ounce packet of Ice Blue Raspberry Lemonade Kool-Aid (or other blue flavor; you can even go crazy and use a totally different color to match your occasion ;))
1 cup of sugar
6-8 scoops of vanilla ice cream (optional)
Adorable accessory (also optional)

Directions

Mix together soda, juice, and Kool-Aid packet in a large punch bowl or tub. Add sugar to taste. (I’ve always used a whole cup–yay sugar!) Float scoops of ice cream on top to create a frothier look and taste if desired. Add a cute prop like rubber duckies or a floating toy (new and cleaned well) for that extra special touch. Enjoy!

I just made this for our son’s 1st birthday party with white grape juice and it was really good, we ran out! He had a whale themed party. Thanks for sharing this recipe!
